Three to 14 days (depending on your destination) after you hand us your excess baggage, the receiving airline/handling agent will call you to let you know that your baggage has arrived. Two to four days later, they will be able to release your baggage to you (after customs clearance). What will it cost? From the time we pick up your unaccompanied baggage to its delivery at destination, we handle everything for you. All standard clearance and delivery charges are pre-paid in theUK, and your excess baggage will be delivered to your home (kerb-side only unless you have made other arrangements). Door to destination airport With this package, Excess Baggage offers three levels of service. They are:Airport Uncleared Once your unaccompanied baggage has arrived at its destination airport, you will be contacted to personally collect and clear it through customs - settling all destination charges as necessary. Airfreight pallet being loaded onto aircraft Economy - Airport Uncleared This service - which shares the main features of Airport Uncleared above, but is offered only at Excess Baggage's terminal offices - provides greater flexibility by enabling you to deposit your unaccompanied baggage until 2200 at all Heathrow terminals and on a 24-hour basis at Gatwick South terminal.

Fully booked and paid-for baggage in airport storage is allocated to the next available flight - which often means consignments arrive more quickly by our Express Airport Uncleared service. Our Express - Airport Uncleared service ensures that your baggage arrives within three to five days. As before, you will be required to collect and clear your items through customs - and meet all charges. A few things to remember Getting someone else to collect If you wish someone else to collect your baggage, you must provide Excess Baggage with a letter of authority (in some countries you are still required to collect your unaccompanied baggage personally).
